Ingredients:
Large French roll or fresh baked sub roll
Iceberg lettuce shredded
Red Onion sliced in rounds
Tomatoes sliced
Red Wine Vinegar
EV Olive Oil
Sweet cherry peppers in jar
Roasted red pepper strips in jar
Pepperoncinis in jar
Mayo
Salt
Black Pepper
Oregano
Pepperoni
Salami
Black Forest Ham
Capicola
Provolone cheese sliced
Pecorino Romano cheese grated (optional)
Cooking Instructions:
Start by putting 1/4 cup of red jarred peppers, 1/2 cup cherry peppers and 1/2 cup pepperoncinis in a blender and lightly blend (You don't want it pureed, leave it slightly chunky). Slice tomatoes and salt and pepper them. Thinly slice red onion in rounds. Shred or thinly slice up lettuce. Slice your sandwich roll leaving a hinge and open it up. Add a layer of mayo on each side followed by some of your pepper spread. Add meats, provolone, shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, sliced red onion then spritz on some olive oil and red wine vinegar. Finish by adding salt, black pepper, oregano, and Pecorino Romano cheese grated. Close sandwich and slice it up. Enjoy!
