Cooking Instructions:
Begin by chopping green onion, carrots, broccoli, garlic, zucchini, onion, and bell pepper. Then slice your sirloin steak into thin pieces and season with salt and pepper. boil some water and drop in your chow mein noodles and boil for about 3 minutes. Reserve a cup of the noodle water. Strain noodles and rinse them in cold water to stop the cooking process. in a hot wok or pan on medium high heat add a tbsp of butter and tbsp or so of avocado oil. Add in your sliced steak and spread it out in the pan/wok. Saute for about 3 minutes without stirring to allow the beef to get slightly charred then stir it up and finish cooking to about 90% done. Remove beef from the pan and carefully wipe out the pan with a paper towel. Coat the pan/wok with more avocado oil and add in your onion and red bell pepper. Add a pinch of salt and pepper and cook for 2-3 min. Add in carrots and zucchini and continue cooking for another 2-3 min stirring frequently. Move veggies to one side of pan and add a little more avocado oil and put in the broccoli adding a little oil on the top of the broccoli as well, plus a little pinch of salt. After cooking for another minute add in the garlic and cook for another minute. Depending on your pan size divide everything in half. Lower heat to medium and add a tbsp of oil followed by the chow mein noodles and some of the noodle water you reserved earlier. Then add in veggies and steak. Add 3-4 tbsps of soy sauce and 3-4 tbsps of hoisin sauce along with green onion and 2 tsp of sesame oil and a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Raise heat to medium high and stir everything together for another 1-2 minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds and Sriracha sauce for a little spice. Enjoy!
