Ingredients:
Ribs (I used baby back, but whatever pork ribs you prefer)
Yellow mustard
BBQ rub of your choosing
Chick-Fil-A Sauce
BBQ Sauce if you are making a second rack
Apple Juice
Cooking Instructions:
Start with yellow mustard as a binder then give them a light coat of Killer Hogs A.P. and finish with a heavy coat of Killer Hogs Hot BBQ Rub (you can use whatever rub you prefer). Let the ribs temper for about 15 minutes while you get your smoker or oven preheating at 250 degrees; you’re going to smoke them for around 5 hours or until you get an internal temp around 200 degrees. Get them on the smoker and spritz with apple juice every hour or so to help them not dry out. Now here comes the experimental ingredient, Chick fil a sauce. I’m coating one rack with chick fil a sauce and one with bbq sauce when there’s about an hour left to cook. Once the ribs are done take them out and let them rest for at least 20 minutes. Here’s the chick fil a rack and here’s the bbq sauce rack, hard to tell the difference. I’m slicing a rib from each rack in about the middle. First up chick fil a. Honestly it was amazing! If you like chick fil a sauce then this is for you! Next up the bbq sauce rib. Also so good but for the uniqueness and surprisingly good taste I’m giving the slight edge to Chick fil a. Don’t take my word for it, try this one yourself!
